We house each of our online courses on a Learning Management System allowing for seamless 24/7 user access.
What is a learning management system?
A Learning Management System (LMS) is a type of eLearning software designed to help create, manage, deliver, and assess training courses and leadership and development programs.
We use Software designed by Talent Learning Management (the same tool used by 70,000+ teams). So, it is no surprise that our users love how easy the system is to navigate and access. Year after year TalentLMS has been recognized as best in the industry.
We offer two online course methodologies: Blended eLearning and Online eLearning.
Blended eLearning
Blended eLearning which includes a diverse mixture of video, audio, text, quizzing, and virtual-based student instructor interactions. This approach helps acquire higher-levels of engagement and active-learning. For example, several of the modules require assignment submission. Our team reviews the assignment submission and provides individualized virtual coaching feedback within 48-hours. The pace is managed completely by the student regardless of shift or schedule.
The LMS accommodates various user-friendly submission formats such as typed, scanned, video or audio, each further enabling active-learning. This blended eLearning allows students to complete the course as it works best for their schedule and learning preference.
For our certification courses, the course concludes with a virtual practical exercise between the student and one of our instructors. It culminates with completion of an associated program paperwork for instructor review and feedback.
Online eLearning
Online includes a diverse mixture of video, audio, text, slides, and quizzing without active instructor interaction. Completion parameters, rules and system requisites are set internally within the software and are dependent on the course.
What is the process to participate in virtual based learned?
- Use the enrollment link to select one of our online or eLearning classes
- When received by our team, an electronic payable invoice will be emailed.
- Once payment processes: A User ID and Password will be emailed to the participant enabling immediate access to the LMS. When logged in a platform will display the acquired course. Once the assigned course is clicked on, a welcome video will introduce the user to the LMS. Users can start and stop at their leisure.
If participating in one of our certification classes, our staff will also mail a spiral-bound hard copy workbook to the address provided with the enrollment.
Regardless of the course a comprehension PDF version of the associated participant workbook can be located within the user file.
